25TH ANNIVERSARY FOR COOKSVILLE PAIR

Cooksville- Mr. and Mrs. Robert R Hinthorn will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at their home in Cooksville [IL].

Hinthorn and the former Evelyn Howard of Towanda were married March 27, 1954 at United Methodist Church of Towanda. They were attended by Margaret Turner and Roger Hinthorn.

The Hinthorns are parents of Kathleen, Richard, Virginia and Lisa. There are two grandchildren.

Hinthorn has been employed as a farmer for donald Armstrong of Cooksville for seven years.

50TH ANNIVERSARY FOR MELVIN HINTHORNS

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hinthorn of 362 24th St. Southgate Estates, Bloomington [IL], are observing their 50th wedding anniversary today. A family get-together at the home of a daughter in Forsythe (IL) will celebrate the event.

Hinthorn and Virginia McPherson were married May 15, 1940 in New London, Iowa. Guy and Eileen Hinshaw were their attendants.

They are parents of Nancy Fletcher of Forsythe; Barbara of Zion(IL); and John B of Glendale, Ariz. There are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Hinthorn was employed as a mechanic by a Buick dealership in Decatur and Mrs.Hinthorn was a licensed practical nurse employed by St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, before their retirement

EL PASO PAIR TO CELEBRATE 50TH YEAR

El Paso- Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hinthorne of El Paso [IL] will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the community room of the Woodford county Bank in El Paso.

Hinthorne and the former Alice Farrell were married Dec. 30, 1926 in Bloomington,(IL). Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Vandegraft of Lexington(IL) were attendants.

The open reception will be hosted by the Hinthornes' children and grandchildren. The Hinthornes are parents of Mrs. Eugene Wilson of Pontiac(IL), and Laverne and Larry of El Paso. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

No formal invitations have been sent and the couple requests no gifts.
