General ? Deed

Know all men by these presents that we Franklin Baldwin and Mary Jane Baldwin wife of Franklin Baldwin of the County of Monroe and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of three hundred and seventy five dollars to them in hand paid by George W. Durkee of the same place the receipt is hereby acknowledged have Bargined and sold and do hereby grant ? and sell and convey unto the said George W. Durkee and his heirs and assigns for ever all of our share an right intres and claime in an to the following premises to wit situate on Sunfish Creek Salem township Monroe County and State of Ohio and land subject to sale at merratta it being all of our share in all of that land owned by Isaac Baldwin at his death it Being the land Bought ? Baldwin of Adam Henthorn and of John Martin to have and to hold said premises with the appurtences unto the said George W. Durkee and his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Franklin Baldwin for himself and heirs doth herby Covent to and with said George W. Durkee and his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seazed of the ? in the primeses of afforesaid that he has good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in maner and form of afforesaid and that he will forever warent and defend unto the ? use Benefit and ? of heirs the said George W. Durkee and his heirs and assigns for ever the above described premises together with all and singular the improvements and appurtances there on an in every wise those unto Belonging in testamony whereof we the said Franklin Baldwin and Mary Jane Baldwin have hereunto set there hands and ? there seals this 3rd day of May AD 1848

Before me Thomas Weston one of the associate Judges of in for the aforesaid County and State personally affirmed the above named Franklin Baldwin and Mary Jane Baldwin wife of Franklin Baldwin and acknowledge the signing and sealing of the above conveyence to Be there Volentary act and Deed and the said Mary Jane Being at the same time examined by me seperate and apart from her said husband and the Contents of said instrument maid known to her by me she then declared she did voluntary sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied ? with this 8th day of May AD 1848
