Here's a HotLink to Brierly (Brierley) Family website. There's a connection to my Henthorn family from England. The Brierly family emigrated from the area of Lancashire, England to Worcester county, Massachusetts in the mid-1840s.
I just learned about this website in the last few days. Prior to finding the website I didn't know that members of this family came to the United States.

To my knowledge and as a descendant of the Brearley family via my Henthorn gt gt gt gt grandmother. There is only one problem they didn't marry and all four sons were born out of wedlock.
This Brearley link goes back to Crompton and ~Shaw in the 1600's

I do not know of any member of that family who migrated to USA
