While cleaning the warehouse we came across a bunch of boxes of RootsMagic 6 CDs. Rather than throw them in a landfill, we have put them up on Amazon for $9.95.
Although it is an older version of the program, they are new (still shrinkwrapped) full version 6 program CDs. If you just want to give a program to someone that you are trying to get started in genealogy, this could be a good option. If they register their program they will also eligible to get future versions of RootsMagic at the upgrade price as well.

Know all men by these presents that we Franklin Baldwin and Mary Jane Baldwin wife of Franklin Baldwin of the County of Monroe and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of three hundred and seventy five dollars to them in hand paid by George W. Durkee of the same place the receipt is hereby acknowledged have Bargined and sold and do hereby grant ? and sell and convey unto the said George W. Durkee and his heirs and assigns for ever all of our share an right intres and claime in an to the following premises to wit situate on Sunfish Creek Salem township Monroe County and State of Ohio and land subject to sale at merratta it being all of our share in all of that land owned by Isaac Baldwin at his death it Being the land Bought ? Baldwin of Adam Henthorn and of John Martin to have and to hold said premises with the appurtences unto the said George W. This Indenture made this fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven. Between Amos Williams Commissioner, appointed to make conveyance of the ... Estate of Nathan G. Henthorn, late of the County of Vermilion and State of Illinois, deceased, of the one part, and Abraham Barnhard of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that whereas heretofore to wit: at the last October Term of the Circuit Court held in and for the County of Vermilion aforesaid, on a certain bill in Chancery, ... said there pending in said Court it was by said Court ordered and decreed as follows to wit:
Abraham Barnhard, complainant Viz. Molly Henthorn widow of Nathan G. Henthorn, deceased and James Henthorn, Matthew Henthorn, Janet Henthorn, Ephraim Henthorn, Susannah Henthorn, Elizabeth Henthorn and Nathan Henthorn all of whom are minors and heirs at law of Nathan G. Henthorn, deceased.
Petition for Conveyance: This cause came on to be heard upon the bill answers and exhibits filed herein, and the Court now here being fully advised and informed ... do order and decree, that the said Molly Henthorn shall make and execute a Deed of Conveyance for the following described Land lying and being in the County of Vermilion and State of Illinois to wit: the West Half of the South West quarter of Section No. One in Township Seventeen North of Range No. Eleven West, to Abraham Barnhard. And it is further ordered and decreed that upon the failure or refusal of the said Molly Henthorn, to execute the said Deed of Conveyance, with thirty days from the date ... that then and in that case if the said Molly Henthorn shall enter out bond to pay the sum of Thirty three Dollars and fifty cents to the administrate, of the Estate of said Nathan G. Henthorn, deceased so soon as one shall be appointed, then Amos Williams, be ... he is hereby appointed a Commissioner, to make and execute said Deed in manner and form aforesaid.
It is further ordered and decreed that the said Complainant pay the costs in this cause. Now therefore this Indenture, witneseth that pursuant to the direction and authority given by said order and decree the said, Amos Williams as Commissioner, aforesaid hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto said Abraham Barnhard, his heirs and assigns forever, the West Half of the South West quarter of Section No. One in Township No. Seventeen North of Range No. Eleven West, To Have And To Hold the same with all the privileges and appurtenances to him the said Abraham Barnhard, his heirs and assigns to his and their use and ... Forever.

Whereas the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania did by Patent hearing date the twenty seventh day of Dec in the year of our Lord one thousand and seven hundred and ninety nine grant unto David Jennings a certain tract of land situated in Union and Menallen Twsp. in Fayette co. & commonwealth of foresaid containing fifty four acres of land called (Fear Tax) also one other patent for a tract of land adjoining the former called (Southhamption) clearing date the first day of April one thousand seven hundred and ninety two---
---Now this Indenture Wineforth said David Jennings and Mary Jennings his wife for and in consideration of three hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand will and truly paid by George Ebert Merchant of Uniontown the right whereof is hereby acknowledge, have granted bargained and sold and by these present do grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said George Ebert his Heirs and Assigns the following described piece or parcel of land and premise being apart of the two tracts before described (To Wit) Southhampton and (Fear Tax). Beginning at a hickory tree in the line of George and Jennings the line running by George Ebert's land north twenty four degrees East fifty three perches to a post by the south side of the great Wad Thencer.. North sixteen degrees and a half East sixty nine Perches and eight tenths to large white oak stump corner of John Woodwards land thence by the same north seventy one degrees and a half west forty six perches and three tenths to a post thence by land of said David Jennings South four degrees east. One hundred perches to a post south nine degrees west. Thirty one perches and one tenth to Hickory, the place of beginning containing Seventeen acres and sixty eight perches of land strict measure with the principle and appurtenances there unto belonging as in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the before described tract of land of prunyes unto the said George Ebert his heirs It Assigns. .o.ery to the sale judgment ... Mortgage to incumber approved and aproved I think sufficient title thrust

This indenture made this second (?) day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen between William Henthorn son of James Henthorn of the county of Ohio and State of Virginia of the one part and Robert Gray of the county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said William Henthorn for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and ten dollars to him in hand paid by the said Robert Gray before the ... and delivering of those presents the weight whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath given granted bargained sold ... and confirmed and by these presents do give grand bargain ... ... and confirm to the said Robert Gray and his heirs one parcel of land in the county of Ohio and state aforesaid containing seventy three acres one half and twenty perches which was the property of the heirs of Susannah Henthorn deceased which they the said heirs hereby bind themselves to relinquish their rights and claims to the aforesaid tract of land and for that purpose hereunto subscribe their names and affix their seals to wit Stephen Burkam and Sarah his wife; William Shepherd and Mary his wife; James Henthorn and Elizabeth his wife; and Mathew Howell and Rebecca his wife, and jointly and finally bound to ... ... their right to the aforesaid tract of land which is bound as followeth ...
