I started off 2014 by installing RootsMagic6 on my laptop computer. All of the RootsMagic5 files needed to go through a quick conversion step to RootsMagic6. As of 22 January 2014 I had 25 genealogy files converted (one of them, cher2, is a file I created for my own edits after the file, cher, was shared with me by the compiler).

Later I backed up each file in two ways. First, I ran the RootsMagic6 backup routine. Then I created a GEDCOM version of each file. These two steps completed the conversion to RootsMagic6 of these 25 files.

There were other files in the RootsMagic3 format on my old desktop computer. I went through the same steps with those file and added them to this list.

Below is a list of the RootsMagic6 files with some information about the contents of each file.

Note: Some of the genealogy information that I'm sharing on the Internet lists an AOL Email address. This address is still current, but I don't actively check that mailbox. Therefore, please use the Gmail address, listed below, to contact me.
