RootsWeb Security Update – Ancestry Blog:
Detailed article, posted 23 Dec 2017, about a recently discovered security breach on RootsWeb.
" For those of you who are unfamiliar, RootsWeb is a free community-driven collection of tools that are used by some people to host and share genealogical information. "

Some of the information I share on the Internet is hosted on RootsWeb. Therefore, I expect access to that information will be denied until this issue is resolved. I suppose there is a possibility that this will not be a high priority at Ancestry because they don't make any money from this service they have been providing for a number of years.
